Dr. Alok Suresh Shinde is a master of his craft. In the term of his practice, he has accomplished much more than his peers. Completing his MBBS from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur, Dr. Shinde completed his MD in General Medicine from B.J. Medical College, Pune. This was followed by a D.M in Cardiology from the B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad.

Dr. Shinde is a prestigious name in the medical field and his expertise has built a strong trust for him in the minds of his patients. So far his experience has been beyond exemplary too. He started off as a resident doctor from the Sassoon General hospital, Pune and he completed his M.D. in General Medicine from B.J. Medical College and Sassoon Hospital, Pune. This was followed by a short-term job as an ICU registrar at the Inamdar Multi-speciality hospital, Pune.

FAQ'S

Will I be conscious during the surgery?

No, you will be unconscious during the operation. You will wake up in postoperative care unit, will after the surgery is completed.
How long will I have to stay in postoperative care?

Depending upon your procedure, you may have to be in the postop care unit for 48 hours – 8 days. You will be allowed to go home, and the doctor will instruct about the diet and activity plans for the following days.
Can I resume work right after surgery?

This generally depends on the type of work you do and how physically exhausting it is. Your doctor will tell you how long before you can go back to work after your surgery.It is advised that you refrain from physical workout and sexual activity till the second week after surgery.
